5 of 5 Vigorous whirlpool December 29, 2023
Reviewer: schwartzr33 from Grand Rapids, MI United States
Ran whirlpool for 10 minutes and then let wort sit for 5 minutes. Trub pile was much bigger than stirring by hand

5 of 5 Awesome addition May 3, 2022
Reviewer: Mike S from Caledonia, WI United States
Very well made product that works very well as an internal kettle drain.  Nice and close to the wall so it doesn't interfere with my brew basket.

4 of 5 It works, but December 16, 2021
Reviewer: Ron from Lancaster, CA United States
It's hard to adjust the angle of the output. It isn't tight where it's sitting, but shouldn't need too much adjusting over time. For what it's worth, I'd buy it again because it meets my needs, just something to consider if you're OCD.

1 of 5 Does not fit October 16, 2021
Reviewer: Rick from IL United States
Did not work on either my 2 Mega-Pots, or my Polar-ware pot. I should have got the one of the other Spin cycles instead.

BrewHardware.com Response:

I'm disappointed that you didn't contact me about the issue before posting the review since I didn't have a chance to make it right.

What exactly about that fitting didn't fit? The description is very clear about what it is used for. It is meant to thread into an existing 1/2" Female NPT port on the inside of a kettle. What where you trying to do with it?

I use this fitting in system builds almost every day and I've not ever found it to be defective. If you were trying to use it for an application that it was not intended for, that would be considered user error. If you called us ahead of time and asked for application advice, we would have directed you to the appropriate product. We would have done the same even after the fact but we haven't heard from you.

Reviewer: Anonymous Person
Soldered in a pull through bulkhead (M/F) and added this inside the kettle.  Works fantastic and is low profile.

5 of 5 Low profile and very effective July 19, 2020
Reviewer: Bukit from San Diego, CA United States
Bobby recommended the Spincyle shorty and I'm really pleased with low profile and strong WP effect.  It threads in finger tight and can be removed similarly with ease for cleaning.  Nice product.

I have been waiting patiently for the Spincycle short option to return to stock for some time now. Well worth the wait. Best space saving whirlpool and recirculating solution available for my keggle HERMS system HLT and BK with outstanding results.
