Great for HD coolers November 4, 2021 Reviewer: Ryan Mooney from Neptune, NJ United States   I bought this for my 10 gallon Home Depot cooler mash tun to replace the bulkhead that came with the ball valve, which is a threaded tube that is difficult to get a seal on. I had to do some teflon tape olympics along with washers to get it to seal, which I did not foresee holding up over time. For this weldless bulkhead, I also bought a 1/2" male to 1/2" female fitting/extension off of Amazon to prevent the handle from hitting the cooler wall when closed. Awesome Product January 23, 2021 Reviewer: Wes I. from Knoxville, TN United States   I never knew a $15 upgrade to my kettle would make such a big difference. My old bulkhead was disagreeable- do I tighten it more? Do I put more Teflon tape on it? This one only has a washer on the outside, o-rings inside with a stationary hex. Easy to tighten, doesn't leak, and best of all, I don't have to use Teflon tape to get a seal. Bulkhead has attention to detail and  is absolutely perfect. Was this review helpful to you?

These are better than Bobby says July 12, 2018 Reviewer: Mike Dalecki from PLATTEVILLE, WI United States   Just added a couple of these to a kettle, and I'm just amazed at how good they are.  They are just as solid as welded bulkheads would be.  No play.  I had a weldless bulkhead fitting on a Northern Brewer kettle, and it was nothing like these.   I've always been anti-weldless for good reason, but these bulkheads are just the nuts.  I'm no longer anti-weldless, so long as I can use these.
