5 of 5 Easy install February 12, 2016
Reviewer: John Payne from Louisville, KY United States
Worked great on my keggle.  Hardest part was drilling on hole, though my step-bit was dull.  Love getting away from propane!

4 of 5 2K Heater February 11, 2016
Reviewer: christopher muller from torrance, CA United States
Received quickly and as advertized. Only 4 stars cause it still needed minor tweaking to fit in 1.5" rims tube.

4 of 5 Need's Tweaking January 10, 2016
Reviewer: Gordon from AUBURN, WA United States
It doesn't fit perfectly in my rims tube and I have yet to try tweaking it to attempt to adjust the bend.  The product itself appears to have great craftsmanship; I just wish it was 100% ready to go with no modifications.

Side note, Bobby is great and I know will work with me if something does go wrong; he always has in the past.

5 of 5 Works perfectly! September 18, 2015
Reviewer: Ed Dwan (RedlegEd) from Collierville, TN United States
Love the all stainless...no rust, anywhere!  Easy installation into Bobby's pod.  Heats 7.5 gallons to full boil @ 120VAC in about 80 minutes in my insulated kettle.

3 of 5 Its ok it works September 3, 2015
Reviewer: Aaron Willems from Costa Mesa, CA United States
I thought i was getting a new one but i ended up getting a used one. Oxidation stains and what seem to be oil residue and brush marks as someone tried to clean it up, but there's no hiding that fact that this was a substantially used element that they tried to clean up and resell

Brewhardware Response. The elements are 100% new right out of the box from the manufacturer. They are NOT pretty and we describe this specifically in the product details above. It is insulting to suggest that we are sending out used equipment. Note to others, if you are expecting a polished shiny stainless element, please do NOT buy these and then leave a negative review.

1 of 5 Needs major modification to fit rims tube September 3, 2015
Reviewer: Louis Vaickus from Quincy, MA United States
This element, while pretty, needs major modification to fit in the RIMS tube sold on this website. Namely, it needs to be bent twice to bring the folded over portion of the element roughly 1/2" back towards center, then bent again to line up straight.

You have to do it perfectly on the first try and even if you've watched the instructions on youtube it will still probably break.

I gripped the element in a bench vice and slowly bent it using a pipe wrench and a jig I had made to mark where center was. The element snapped about halfway through the bend (it's basically just a thin tube surrounding a powder and coiled wire).

Find a pre-bent element. I wouldn't bother with this one.

Brewhardware Comment:
Just for anyone reading this after March 2015, our elements are now offset which fixes the issue described by this customer.

5 of 5 2000 watt element September 3, 2015
Reviewer: Charlie Oberle from Davenport, FL United States
The other 500 watt is a plus provides the proper amount of heat needed fot 120 volt element versus the 1500 watt

5 of 5 Excellent product August 24, 2015
Reviewer: Jeffrey Greendyk from Midlothian, VA United States
The installation was easy since I paired these with the hot pod enclosures.  They brought the wort to temperature fast and I dont worry about scorching the wort.
