This expandable mesh sleeving is great for dressing up your element cables. In it's natural resting state, it's approximately 1/2" diameter but it will expand to slip over cables of nearly 1" in diameter or contract down to 3/8". It's actually a perfect size for 10/3 or 10/4 SJOW or SOW cables, typical of those running 240v / 30amp element circuits. Since the length shrinks as the ID expands, it's best to order more than you think you need. Think "Chinese finger trap". If you are putting it over 12/3 wire, order the a length of sleeving 5% longer than the wire (so 20' of cable needs 21' of mesh). If you are using 10/3 or 10/4 wire, order 10% more sleeving. Example, 10 feet of wire 11 feet of sleeving.
Sold by the foot. Fill in the quantity for how many continuous feet you want.
