Sometimes we have a grand plan for a given fitting. This time we're just spit balling to see what sticks. We took the profile of a ball lock keg post and replaced the poppit and spring with just two large bored out holes. In other words, this keg post doesn't shut off when you remove the plastic QD. The other end is a typical 1/2" male NPT pipe thread. Thread this thing into a 1/2" NPT TEE or CROSS and make yourself a cleaning manifold.

Works with liquid QDs only.

Great way to upgrade my transfers to the keg. Post-to-post connection means I can purge the keg with CO2, add a spund to the other post, and execute an oxygen-free transfer. The fermenter already has a valve so no need for its post to have one, too.

A great way to save some money when there's no need for the spring stop inside the fluid post. I'm using this to provide cleaning fluid to the taps and lines when they require cleaning.

These worked perfectly for me in my build of a 4-tap beer line cleaning manifold. Now I can clean and sanitize my beer lines easily in 1/4th of the time.

5 of 5 Perfect to clean tap line w/ Mark II Keg Washer July 4, 2020

Works perfect. Intended to connect directly to the pump of the Mark II keg washer, but that meant connecting the kegerator beer line 'blind' (in the soapy water). Planning flaw on my part. Luckily I had a 1/2" female coupler. Attached one end to the Mark II "post", the other to this free flowing Ball Lock QD Post. Now I have an auto-cycling tap line cleaner!

I bought 4 of these.  Attached them to a 1/2-inch CSST manifold ($20 at Ace Hardware), along with a 1/2-inch hose barb, and it's the perfect way to clean all 4 beer lines on my kegerator at the same time.  Thanks for the great product!
