This funnel is made of durable, food-grade plastic. The smooth inner surface makes it easy to clean and sanitize. And the stem fits easily into carboys but is wide enough to provide fast flow. The funnel comes with a 4" diameter, fine-mesh straining screen, and the interior has a notch around the circumference where the screen rests securely.

I wanted something that allowed me to get every last bit of wort out of my kettle w/o too much hop matter and trub going into the fermenter. Works just fine!

3 of 5 Nice big opening but filter too easily clogged March 11, 2016

The good:
The funnel has a nice big opening so I can easily pour into it from my large pot, and the end of the funnel is small enough to fit into a carboy which is also very nice. Lastly there is a hook on the side so it can rest on the edge of a bucket or pot if you are transferring to a pail.
The bad:
I wish it came with a couple different screens (large ans small openings). I brewed a Belgian White and I wanted to get all the coriander seeds out after the boil and it clogged a number of times  even with using a sock for the hops and straining the grain before the boil
