Pale ales are known for their neutral, slightly sweet malt backbone with layers of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma on top. In essence, their purpose is to showcase the hop varieties selected by the brewmaster. Many brewers struggle with identifying which hop variety they really like because so many beers have a blend of several hops and it's hard to pick them apart. This hop showcase kit starts with a solid base of malt and neutral bittering hops but leaves the "SHOWCASE" part up to you. You'll choose your desired hop showcase hops in the dropdown above.
