We will not replace or refund shipped liquid yeast that arrives warm/hot under any circumstances. Adding an icepack is an option that may minimize issues when weather is warm or hot in New Jersey, your state, or anywhere in between. Additionally, you may want to have liquid yeast shipped separately with an express shipping method such as UPS next day if you are outside of UPS one-day ground zones. Orders with liquid yeast, being shipped to areas with longer than 1-2 day shipping, will ship on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Omega Yeast Labs is proud to offer home brew pitches of select strains containing about 150 billion viable yeast cells at packaging.Saisonstein's Monster OYL-500 The first in our line of hybrid strains. This strain is a genetic hybrid resulting from the mating of strains OYL-026 and OYL-027, created by and available exclusively from Omega Yeast. Less phenolic and more fruit character than 026. Exhibits some of the bubble gum character of 027. Details Flocculation: Low Attenuation: 80-90% Temperature Range 65-78 F Alcohol Tolerance: High Omega Yeast Labs Exclusive

All packs now contain 150 mL of yeast slurry to enhance the brewer's experience! For the convenience of your customers, pack height and width will not change. The pack's "gusset" accommodates the additional volume without increasing the pack's dimensions. With the increase of yeast per pack, you will notice updated pricing.


We do our best to insulate liquid yeast packs in a bubble wrap envelope but you'll have a much better chance of viability if you select an ice pack in the accessory list. During cooler months, a single ice pack is enough for up to three packs of yeast. In the summer, you may want several ice packs for a single pack of yeast and coordinate the shipping with us to avoid long periods in a delivery truck.
