Note that these kits USED TO include specific pumps but we got so many inquiries about substituting pump models or leaving them off since buyers already owned pumps that we've decoupled the purchase of a pump from this connectivity kit. You'll buy the pump and THIS KIT to complete the build.
This kit includes
- one 24" hose from the TC drain port of your kettle down to the input of a TC ported pump. We supply a TC x MQD adapter, TC clamps and TC gaskets for both ends.
- one TC tee splitter for the output of the pump (includes TC clamp and gasket)
- one 24" hose to go back up to your kettle's TC ported whirlpool valve. We supply a TC x MQD adapter, TC clamps and TC gaskets for both ends.
- one throttling valve (Blichmann Linear flow or SSbrewtech Purflow valve depending on availability). Includes TC clamp and gasket to connect to the tee.
- one 6 foot hose to go your lid mounted mash recirculation setup (if must have a BLQD male on it to be compatible). We include one TC x MQD adapter, clamp and gasket for the connection to the throttling valve and a direct hose mount 90 degree female QD (BLQD-Cplus90) for the lid recirc connection.
To reiterate the equipment you need to connect this to:
Your drain and whirlpool return valves must have 1.5" TC flanges on the outward facing sides. We supply the rest.
Your lid port that distributes recirculated mash wort over the grainbed must have a male QD port on it because our included hose has a female QD on the end. We do not supply any TC x MQD adapters at this location.
The kit DOES NOT INCLUDE:
A pump (you need to own or buy one that has 1.5" TC ports on the inlet and outlet, direction doesn't matter). The picture below shows a Blichmann Riptide but it's not included.
Kettle mount valves. The picture below shows a valve on the kettle, but it's not included with this kit.
