This particular thermowell is 1.5" long with a 1.5" TC flange welded to the open end of the tube. The tube's ID is in between the two major sizes of thermowells we sell elsewhere on this site and accepts probes up to 5mm in diameter. We sourced these specifically for our RIMS tubes for use with the Inkbird IPB-16S controllers.
Thermowells are devices that install into your vessels (or within your threaded plumbing) that allow a thermometer, digital thermometer probe, or temperature controller sensor to be inserted but kept isolated from the liquid the thermowell is immersed in.
