If you already have a pump and one of our pump connection kits (with all the camlocks, tubing etc) and you decided you want to add a plate chiller into the flow, you will now need one more short jumper hose assembly and the male camlocks that go onto the input and output ports. You will use your existing hose assemblies between the boil kettle and pump and from the chiller output port to either a recirculation port on your kettle, or direct to the fermenter. The new hose assembly gets put between the pump output and the chiller input. This premium kit adds digital temperature readout on the output of the plate chiller to help you perfectly dial in the coolant and wort flow rates.

3' of 1/2" ID silicone tubing ($6.45)
Hose Clamp x 2 ($3)
Cam BigC x 2 ($15)
Cam A for the input wort port on the chiller ($4)
1/2" TEE for the output of the chiller ($4)
PCOMP1 to compress onto the thermometer ($14)
Cam F for the output of the tee ($4)
CDN DTQ450 digital thermometer ($17)

Total retail value is $67.45

It should be obvious but the plate chiller itself is not included with this kit. The kit works with any plate chiller version that has 1/2" Male NPT on the input/output on the wort side.

Perfect setup to see the output temp of the wort on the plate chiller. I added a 3pc valve after the tee to be able to control flow.

Good setup, however recommend advising / highlighting a need for a connection from plate chiller to the connection kit. I overlooked that and the picture suggests connecting via the plate chiller 1/2 ntp male to the connection kit "T" female. I don't want to screw it on and off for cleaning so I'm purchasing a female cam lock to male npt since i'm using cam locks.

I'm just building my brewery and have not had a chance to test the Plate Chiller Connection Kit - Premium with Digital Temp.  Due to a mis-pick  with the Pump Connection Kit, Camlocks, for CENTER inlet I cannot finish construction.

Bobby takes the guess work out of plumbing with his kits. Nice touch to be able to know the temperature of your wort coming out of the chiller plate.
