This 3 conductor, 14 gauge portable cable can handle 15 amps on 120 volts and has a molded NEMA 5-15P plug on one end and an L6-30R twist lock receptacle on the other end. This cable used to power the 120 volt TC-Integrated heating elements. We include a similar cable assembly on our RIMS packages to go between the element and the controller.

To be very clear, the L6-30R standard is typically used on 240v, 30amp connections. It's just the case where all TC integrated elements, regardless of their rated voltage and wattage use the same connection standard so this custom cable is how it gets connected.

This cable DOES NOT magically convert 120 volts to 240 volts.

Some users will use this cable to power a [240v RATED] element with 120 volts. That particular element will then run at 25% of it's rated wattage. For example a 240v/5500 watt element will run at 120v/1375 watts.
