Malt Type: Roasted Grain Origin: United Kingdom Wort Color: 200 Lovibond Moisture: 3.5% max. Extract (dry): 71% min. Diastatic Power: Usage: 10% max. Crisp Pale Chocolate malt is a light-roasted specialty malt. Lighter in color and milder in taste than regular chocolate malt, Pale Chocolate has the nutty malt flavor of lighter toasted grains, but also some of the heavier flavor of darker roasted malt. Small quantities can be used to add color to dark beers. Larger quantities will add strong flavor and color, excellent in porters and stouts.

Grain is now offered in either pounds or ounces to better accomodate customer needs. Please pay attention to which item you are ordering and select your quantity appropriately. Remember, there are 16 ounces in a pound. Note that 16 x 1 ounces will cost you slightly more than 1 x 1 pound.
