This tailpiece is typically used on the gas side of a Sanke Keg Coupler or on the back of a kegerator shank for use with 3/8" ID tubing though 5/16" will also stretch over with some heating. While we suggest 1/4" or 5/16" ID hose for CO2, some commercially available kegerators or bar installs already have 3/8" tubing so this is what you would need for that.
