This shank is suitable for kegerator conversions through keezer collars or thick fridge doors. Stainless steel will last forever. Due to the fact that the standard measurement is done all the way from the faucet face, the actual wall thickness this shank accommodates is 3.75" Don't forget to add a hex beer nut, 1/4" barbed tailpiece, and tailpiece gasket.
The particular units we have on hand now have a smooth polished faucet nut on the front and not knurled like the picture shows. it matches the shiny faucets very well.
