You can use this for a lot of things but it's USUALLY threaded on the the top liquid output side of a commercial keg coupler to use a gas source setup for a homebrew keg or kegerator.

The image on the left shows the full set (we sell it as a kit elsewhere) installed on a Sanke Coupler. Note that the coupler is not included in this price but it is available on this site and also shown as an add on accessory on the right. THIS ITEM that you're buying is specifically the one on the top of the picture that is compatible with liquid/beer ball lock QDs (the black ones).

Note that we also have cheaper way to make your Sanke coupler accept home brew ball lock QD connections but it does require that your ball lock QDs have the MFL ports.
