THIS item is an assembly with the element described below with a prewired 10 foot long 14/3 cable. The end of the cable has a molded in NEMA 5-15P. If you must run an extension cord to get it to an unused circuit, please use a heavy duty cable of either 14 or 12 gauge wire.

These TC elements don't have screw in bases but are welded right to a 1.5" TC flange. This particular version provides an integrated wiring enclosure where the incoming cable gets hard-wired in. For those users who do not need the cable to disconnect, this option provides a more sturdy connection putting less stress on the cable connections in commercial environments for example.

You will need a 1.5" TC port on your kettle and we offer several different ways to get that done; weld ferrule, solder ferrule, and weldless. These are available separately.

Element length is approximately 12" Long to the TC flange. Please note that the length does vary across different production runs so if your kettle is going to be a tight fit, call ahead and we'll measure our current stock for you. We are not responsible for return shipping costs if you find that it doesn't fit.

Everything is 304 High polish stainless steel.
