304 SS fitting with 1/2" NPT FEMALE threads and 1/2" OD hose barb.

For more clarity, the hose barb size name is meant to match the ACTUAL inside dimension (diameter) of the hose you're trying to push on to the barb. In this case, a hose ID of 1/2" always works no matter how rigid the hose is. In some cases, you can stretch a 3/8" ID hose onto this 1/2" barb if the material is rubbery enough. You cannot use a larger hose ID on a smaller hose barb.
