Description

This is the classic belt style heater that will add a bit of heat when your fermenter is sitting in a cold basement for example. The 18 watt output is suitable for keeping the fermenter several degrees above ambient temps but if you need more heat, we also offer the FermWrap which is 40 watts.

This unit does NOT have a built in thermostat so you will need to use a controller of some sort such as the Inkbird ITC-308 as seen in the accessories on the right. Some users report that the 18 watts is low enough that it can used without a controller, but just keep in mind that we are not responsible for lost batches due to overheating if you choose to roll the dice.
