This nipple will link the high pressure sides of two regulators. This very unique piece has typical right hand thread on one side and the more rare left hand thread on the other. 304 SS construction.

One example of where this rare nipple makes sense is when coupling a Taprite secondary regulator to the high pressure side of a Taprite primary regulator. Long story short, if you know you need a left hand to right hand conversion, this nipple is for you.
