Description   This kit item is a one click addition to the cart with the following items: 1.5" TC weld ferrule 1.5" TC Clamp 1.5" TC silicone gasket Labor Charge for welding and polishing the TC. The main purpose of this item is to make one of the kettles you're buying from us ready to accept the Steam Slayer steam condensing unit, but it can be used any time you request a new 1.5" TC port. We will typically install this port exactly opposite your electric heating element port, up as close to the upper rim as possible. Generally this will delete about 1-2 gallons of headspace from most kettles, give or take. You can gain this head space back for BIAB full volume mashing by capping the port off and then switching out for the steam slayer once all the grain is removed. Perfect for brewing indoors October 21, 2021 Reviewer: Brent from Virginia   Perfect kettle upgrade to allow for indoor brewing, and workmanship was top quality. Looks like it came off ready that way from the factory. Make sure you get a 1.5TC plate to block the port during a large mash. Was this review helpful to you?
