Description

If you replace your tailpieces and nuts on the gas and liquid ports on your Sanke commercial keg coupler with these, you can directly attach your home brew ball lock quick disconnects on to the coupler. This allows you to go back and forth between commercial and homebrew ball lock kegs on the same set of hoses without cutting hose, undoing hose clamps, or using wrenches on flare barbs.

This set comes with one gas post and one liquid post. As you may not be aware, the post profile is slightly different between liquid and gas. These both have universal poppets installed with replaceable orings. Removal of the poppet requires prying out a retaining snap ring. It can be done with a small screw driver but snap wring pliers would make it much easier.

The image on the left shows the set installed on a Sanke Coupler. Note that the coupler is not included in this price but it is available on this site and also shown as an add on accessory on the right.

Note that we also have cheaper way to make your Sanke coupler accept home brew ball lock QD connections but it does require that your ball lock QDs have the MFL ports.

5 of 5 Superb! March 26, 2022

Having these in a set is excellent. I wish there was a way to slightly indicate the gas from the liquid and vice versa but if you hook it up and doesn’t flow just swap them out. Works perfectly on my local brewery donations to our neighbor taproom.

1 of 5 Wished they worked November 25, 2019

It is a great idea but I just tried to use them this last weekend and they leaked CO2 and beer. The ball lock couplers wouldn't sit right on the posts.

BrewHardware.com Response. Another case of writing a review without ever contacting us. We have sold over 500 of these adapters with no problems. You probably just had the gas and liquid adapters reversed. They are different.

5 of 5 Great Solution! January 18, 2016

No more do I have to cut my lines in order to put on a commercial keg.  What a PITA that was!  Get these if you ever plan on putting a commercial keg on.  Instead of cutting gas and beer lines, heating them to jam them onto hose barbs, then reversing the whole thing when you want to reclaim that tap for homebrew, just get these!  Totally worth the investment.
