Hey, thanks for checking us out. Please look around and use the contact button if you have any questions or if you need help finding something. We used to list ALL the products right on this page but it was getting a little out of hand as we added more and more items. You'll find some of our newest products all the way at the bottom of this page, but please use the product filter on the left to narrow in on a specific product category for our entire offering. <<<<<<<<<<<
If you're a new visitor, we'd like to mention a few things if you'll indulge us. Brewhardware.com has built a solid reputation for offering the best retrofit sight glass kits available to the homebrew market with a consistent high level of customer support both pre and post sale. In fact, we are so confident that our sight glass kits offer the best combination of price, function, and features compared to the competition that we’re happy to let you know what your alternatives are. We feel a great sense of pride reading through all the positive reviews of our products and service both on this site and homebrewer forums.
We have primarily focused on hardware for measurements during and after brew day such as refractometers, level indicators (sight glasses), and temperature/thermometers. Accessories offered including bits required for installing our products as well as custom made brushes for cleaning. We aquired a viny cutting machine to have more control over the sight glass calibration numbers and have extended its utility by also offering calibration decals for carboys and other fun vinyl stickers.
In late 2012, we started focusing on building up a line of custom and exclusive parts and kits that solve problems no other vendor has adressed yet. Keep in mind that we often take a different approach to solving brewery design issues so many times when you don't find something in our catelog that you found elsewhere, it's by choice and not ignorance. If you see something elsewhere that you think we should carry, feel free to use the contact button and we'll talk about it.
NOTE: The SAFARI browser found on most Apple products does not play nice with our shopping cart system. Please use Chrome or Firefox.

Model: Clamp - $1.50 +
These hose clamps are of the highest quality we could find. They are all stainless in construction including the band, screw and housing. The plain band extends on the interior to cover the slots on the outer band so that the clamp does NOT damage soft tubing like silicone (known as a lined clamp). The band is 1/2" wide and is adjustable from
9/16" - 1-1/16" (14mm - 27mm) clamping diameter.

Model: Silicone - $2.39 /ft + Discounts for longer lengths
NEW: Extruded in the USA.
BrewHardware.com recommends silicone tubing for all your fluid transfer needs. This extremely flexible tubing is FDA rated for food contact up to 400F and doesn't melt until 500F. The inside diameter is 1/2" and the wall thickness is 1/8" for a total OD of 3/4".
Why not use the clear reinforced PVC from Lowes? Go ahead and hack off a 2" piece and steep it in some boiling water. Let the water cool and give it a taste.

Model: platelong $141
This is a LONG, 304 stainless heat exchanger with integrated garden hose connections for the water side and 1/2" male NPT on the wort side to offer the most connection flexibility possible. Actual dimensions, 12" long with 3" wide plates. Rather than offer a bunch of different sizes and plate counts, this is the one we use so we can't help but recommend it. You will find cheaper plate chillers out there, but don't be fooled by the 40, 50, 60 plate varieties. They are not the same length as this one. Adding more plates only allows you to flow the liquids faster but the length is where you get cooling efficiency (less water used). Note, our price also includes two stainless mounting wingnuts to attach to your brew stand.

Model: FB15HH - $ 89
A false bottom product has been a long time coming for us and it's finally here. While the basic concept of making a mash/lauter tun out of a keg by putting a perforated disk in the bottom is straight forward, the manufacturing process and installation instructions are a little tricky. For those who don't know, this is the best way to to fly sparge and if you're direct firing your mash tun, a full width false bottom is the best prevention from scorching your grain and wort.
If you're comparing to other offerings out there, here are the details: we start with 16 gauge (that's about 1/16" thick and we don't know of anyone making them thicker than this) 304 Stainless Steel sheet that has 3/32" holes punched over the entire surface on 5/32" centers.
We use a total of 12" of piano hinge that is spot welded at 12 locations per hinge and are also made of 16 gauge 304 stainless for strength and corrosion resistance. The hinges are necessary because the top holes that are typically cut in kegs are about 12" diameter and a full 15" disk would otherwise not fit.Click "read more".
