Labor Charge - Draft Install or Kegerator Repairs, Customer site

We occasionally take on work at customer locations including draft system/kegerator installations, line replacements and/or cleaning, etc. Maybe you just moved into a house that has a draft system in the basement bar but it hasn't been used for years. You want to start serving your own beer but don't know where to begin. We will evaluate the condition of all the equipment and rebuild, refurbish, and/or clean existing equipment when possible. Costs can be assessed and firm quoted on site prior to performing the work if the customer requests it.

The labor rate is $55 per 30 minute increment of time on site with a $110 (1 hour) minimum (time on site is selected in the dropdown, not driven by item quantity).
There is also a mileage component to the service billed at a little over $1 per mile from 135 Main Street, 08889. We use google maps and price based on the shortest route option listed.

The $110 site visit minimum is consumed whether the estimated/quoted work is performed or not. If the work is performed, the clock starts at time of arrival.

Warranty/Callbacks: if your draft system has performance issues or leaks within 3 months after servicing, we will waive the service/labor fee to return to your site for evaluation and repairs as long as the performance issue and/or repair directly concerns components we installed on the previous visit. For example, if we install a new CO2 regulator and it fails, we will return and repair or replace the regulator no charge. On the other hand, if it turns out that the failure is on a keg coupler that was already in place and functional upon the last visit, the customer will be responsible for parts/labor on that new repair/replacement. It is for this reason that we will often encourage replacement of key components (CO2 regulator, couplers and faucets) on the initial visit when the age is unknown.

Emergency/Weekend/Holiday Service: We understand that there are circumstances that require emergency calls. You're having a very large party for New Year's Eve and thought the kegerator was operational but it's leaking beer everywhere. Maybe you refilled the CO2 tank the week before but have a major leak and now it's empty. We will often make accommodations to help you out but the labor rate is DOUBLED. You will be made aware of this situation when you call. We do not necessarily consider weekend service "emergency" if it happens to be when we have availability and is planned in advance but rather a situation where there is no flexibility and we have to drop our plans to get you sorted out right away. Days when emergency rates absolutely apply: NYE, NY Day, Memorial Day weekend, July 3rd/4th, Labor Day, Dec 24th/25th.
